All New Ford Ranger at the Australian Motor Show 2010
Not only the Mazda BT-50 that has changed, the Ford Ranger also appeared with a new look.
All-New Ford Ranger is also making its debut at the Australian International Motor Show 2010 which opened today. New Ford Ranger looks like a Ford F-150. The design of the front grille is different from the F-150. Body looks muscular and sturdy.
The engine carries two new diesel engines. TDCi Duratorq diesel engine with a capacity of 2.2 liter which can generates power of 150 hp with peak torque of 375 Nm.
Second diesel engine variants are more aggressive, with a capacity of 3.2 liter that produces 200 hp and torque of 470 Nm.
This engine uses a 6-speed transmission that is claimed to be more economical.
Besides diesel engines, the latest Ranger is also equipped with a capacity of 2.5-liter gasoline engine-powered 166 hp and 5-speed transmission.
All-New Ranger will also be available in 2WD and 4WD variants and marketed in 180 countries.
